First time I actually ever heard Ra Ra Riot was on the Late Show with David Letterman. I totally loved them, and little did I know, a friend of mine had actually put the same album that they were performing from onto my iPod without my knowledge. I listened to the whole album, and this was the song that burned deeply in my mind. The beginning of this song, to me at least, sounds quite a bit like Coldplay, but once the singing actually starts, it's a whole different experience. In some areas, they have more than two singers at a time, which you would expect to be a mess sometimes; but they make everything work so well. I also think that really, they should be more well known with a lot more followers, especially with a song like this. If you want to hear more off this album, it's called 'The Rhumb Line'. If they ever come through my city, I will definitely be seeing them, that's for sure. Novemeber 13th, 2009.
